Hollywood is situated in Los Angeles, California. It is well known for being the centre of the movie industry, however there it doesn't have as many movie studios as people would think. It is buzzing with bars, nightclubs and fancy restraunts and is considered one of the most popular cities in the US. It is well known world wide as movie central and many famous celebs either live there or are based there. This makes it an extremely exciting and popluar place to go with the chance of seeing your favourite actor or actress!!!!

First film ever:

The film was called Strongbow Sandow. It was made in 1890. The first short film with a story line was called 'The great train robbery' and the first feature length movie was called ' The Story of the Kelly Gang' starring actors Godfrey Cass, Nicholas Brierley, Elizabeth Tait and John Tait.
The first full length feature film was 'The World, The Flesh and The Devil' which came out in 1914.
